I have always been interested in the act of making and repurposing found objects and materials. I find myself to be highly influenced by Portugal, its landscapes, its materials, and also by the lifestyle that we have crafted for ourselves here at Kasa Koru.
The stunning surroundings are conducive to finding inspiration in both made and organic materials. I see materials lying around and enjoy imagining what it can become and creating special, unique objects that are both practical and beautiful.
Most of my skills are self taught, or learned by observation of others, questioning the how and the why of techniques and materials.
